by far my quickest hunt and will be hard to beat. same day i started sr's i got this electrode and surprisingly caught it first ball instead of it exploding and ko'ing itself. again, this is in the save that was forever lost rip.

started 6/13/25 and got this shiny totodile on new years eve! was hoping to get either a cyndaquil or a totodile. but honestly i love all the johto starters so i would have been happy with a chikorita as well. cyndaquil is my favorite starter of all time so i would have loved one, but i thought if i got a totodile it would serve as a great homage to the original silver save file i lost where i also got a shiny totodile. todd serves as the beginning to the soulsilver shiny dtq. i unfortunately didn't keep track of my soft resets, in hindsight i

started 2/25/26. my second fastest hunt of all time. first phase, zubat spawns at 25% and paras spawns at 15% with oddish spawning at 60% at night which is when i mostly hunted. still, was worried i would get a zubat. i cannot stand that bat. this hunt left me speechless - i did not expect to get the next member of the team so fast. immediately after, i participated in the bug catching contest and got the sun stone and evolved eva into a bellossom!
