This shiny hunting event is hosted by Zakeoverload with the goal of completing a Shiny Living Professor Oaks Challenge.
After each section is completed, the "Goal Progress" will be updated with all the Pokémon in the next.

What is a Shiny Living Professor Oaks Challenge you ask?As a community we must obtain all possible Pokémon in their shiny forms before each rank up match.
What does living mean?
"A living Pokédex is a fan term for a game file which not only has a complete Pokédex, but has one of every available species of Pokémon stored in its PC boxes as well." - Bulbapedia
For example:
Instead of getting one Fletchling and evolving it all the way to Talonflame. We must have a Fletchling, a Fletchinder and a Talonflame at the same time.
Does this mean I have to send you my Pokémon to have them all on one file?
No. Instead of having a masterfile, the end goal of this event is a video compilation highlighting all the shinies found and who found them.
Does the Switch built in clips function count?
Yes. So long all the needed information is there so be mindful if you plan to use it.
THESE RULES ARE FAIRLY STRICT SO PLEASE READ WELL.
Submission rules:
1. SUBMISSIONS MUST HAVE VIDEO.
It can be a Twitch clip, unlisted YouTube video or put in the notes "video was submitted via the discord in #oak-submissions".
2. Video(s) must contain the initial shiny encounter and proof that the save file is at the correct rank. If submitting an evolution, you must show the evolution in the submission video(s) as well.
3. Shiny Charm is banned until the postgame section.
I still recommend not using it after but hey, that's up to you.
4. AFK methods and Macros are NOT ALLOWED AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF SUBMITTED.
This event is about actively hunting.
5. Active turbo is allowed. Any turbo that you could put down and walk away from IS BANNED.
This means any turbo that you have to hold the button down for is allowed as you must be there for it to work.
6. Pokémon caught dates must be within the time the section is active.
Pokémon caught before their section is unlocked will not be accepted.
7. YOU CAN AURA FARM!
If with your submission video you want to take a few photos with your Pokémon, PLEASE DO!
