Welcome to the Shiny World Cup!

This is a Community Shiny Hunting event where Pokémon regions compete against each other to find out which Region will get the Shining Glory!

A brand new community event where Pokémon Regions go head-to-head in the ultimate shiny hunting showdown!

Format

In this Shiny Hunting Event we will be putting Region against Region to find out which Region will become the Very Best (Like no other region ever was!)
The event is split into two Phases:

• Pool Phases:
  Regions will be split into 3 different Pools!
  The TOP region of each pool proceeds to the Final!
  The BEST score in the Pool Phase that didn't qualify will make it through as the Wild Card!
  Duration: 3 days/Pool

• Final Phase:
  The Regions that make it out of the Pool Phase will battle it out for Shining Glory!
  The Final Phase will take place over 4 Days!

Who can join in?

Everyone! Whether you're a casual hunter or grind full-odd hunts!

Even if you only want to jump on the Bandwagon and only take part in the finals, it is never too late to jump in!

How are the groups decided?

A draw was held on the 14th of May to decide the Groups! The Groups have been decided as the following*:

Group A (20th June 17:30 GMT - 23rd June 17:00 GMT) Results defined:

• Johto - 1st Place | 72 Points (Finalist)

• Sinnoh - 2nd Place | 45 Points

• Paldea - 3rd Place | 23 Points

Group B (23th June 17:30 GMT - 26rd June 17:00 GMT) Results Defined:

• Alola - 1st Place | 672 Points (Finalist)

• Hoenn - 2nd Place | 446 Points (Finalist)

• Unova - 3rd Place | 223 Points

Group C (26th June 17:30 GMT - 29rd June 17:00GMT) Results Defined:

• Kalos - 1st Place | 25 Points (Finalist)

• Galar - 2nd Place | 22 Points

• Kanto - 3rd Place | 16 Points

Finals (30th June 17:30 GMT - 3rd July 20:00 GMT):

• Johto (Winner of Group A)

• Alola (Winner of Group B)

• Kalos (Winner of Group C)

• Hoenn (Wild Card as best 2nd Placed Region)

*Due to schedules, the order of the groups has changed. Group A was originally drawn as Group C, Group B as A, and Group C as B. This order change is purely due to Captain Stream-schedules, but should play no part in the final Outcome of the Event
**17:30 GMT is the start time of the Overall Event in ShinyDex. All Group stages will start at the same time as the event, and end half an hour before the following Group starts! No Submissions will be accepted in this half-hour timeframe!
