Welcome to MayDar 2026!

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! A Showdown x ShinyDex event where 2 teams battle it out and hunt for shiny Pokémon by only using the Poké Radar.

Each Pokémon is 1 point and at the end of the event what ever team is in the lead is the winner.

Are you a 17 Believer? or a Full Send Forty? Pick your team. Hunt for Victory!

The ultimate goal is to complete the Radar shiny dex and we want your help!

Rules

MayDar 2026 Rules General Rules

Only Shinies caught using the Radar Method are eligible for submission
Allowed games:
- BDSP (Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl)
- DPPL (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum)
- XY

Shiny Rules

Only 1 Shiny per chain counts for points
Evolving is NOT allowed
- Exception: Dex Completion Only
- If evolving for Dex completion, you must check the "Evolved from lower stage" option on ShinyDex

Gameplay Rules

You may use up to 4 instances at one time
Mods, exploits, or cheats are strictly prohibited
- Any player found using them will be disqualified immediately

Team & Submission Rules

Streamers must submit to their assigned team
Viewers may submit to either team
A ShinyDex account is required to submit entries
All submissions must follow the official Submissions rules channel Submission rules
: we just need 2 pics from you
- Summary screen of the pokemon
- Info screen of the pokemon (Met loc, Date) If you are evolving: We will need 3 pics instead of the norm 2
  - Summary screen of the pokemon you got shiny
  - Info Screen of that pokemon (Met loc, Date)
  - The evolved pokemon's info screen
