Welcome to our Fire Red & Leaf Green Shiny Living Dex
Community Challenge! We are passionate shiny hunters and, with the release of
Fire Red and Leaf Green on the Switch, we wanted to bring some joy and
excitement back to shiny hunting!
The aim of this event is to come together as a community, to
find a shiny version of every Pokémon available in Fire Red and Leaf Green.
Whether you’re new to full-odds hunting or an experienced veteran, this event
is open to everyone! All you need to do is find a shiny in Fire Red or Leaf
Green, and upload it to the event page!
Dorkus and Solar will be streaming their hunts, live on their
Twitch channels! If you’re a streamer, you can stream your hunts too, using the
Twitch tag SLDCC. You can reach out to Dorkus or Solar if you have any
questions about the event, and join the Partner Push Discord server for more event
information.
- - All submissions require a screenshot of the
encounter, as well as the summary screen. A clip of the encounter and catch
will also count.
- - All shinies must be caught on original software –
either the original cartridge, or downloaded on the Switch/Switch 2 from the
Nintendo e-Shop – no emulators.
- - All methods except RNG manipulation are acceptable
for this event.
- - Evolutions will be accepted (as in many cases,
you have to evolve as they can’t be found in the wild). If you evolve, please
provide screenshots of the base form encounter and summary screen, and a
screenshot of the evolved form’s summary screen.
