Welcome to Curry Month 2026!

From May 1st - 31st, we'll be shiny hunting some Pokémon in Pokémon Camp in Pokémon Sword and Shield!

Why shiny hunt this way? Well, Pokémon found via the "curry encounters" method have the unique ability to come with the Curry Connoisseur mark, a mark that otherwise is completely unavailable to other Pokémon outside of camp encounters. Getting a shiny with this mark is one of the most coveted and rare shiny Pokémon you can get. 

In Sword and Shield, you can only hunt on one of the various routes, forests or caves scattered throughout the game. You CANNOT hunt in NPC Camps, The Wild Area, The Isle of Armor, The Crown Tundra, Towns or Cities or in any Online or Local Wireless Camps.

1. The event is only accepting entries from May 1st - 31st, 2026. 

2. Find a shiny Pokémon with the Curry Connoisseur Mark in Pokémon Sword or Shield via Pokémon Camp. 

3. When submitting an entry, please provide the following: summary page picture (including date met), mark page picture (with the Curry Connoisseur mark clearly shown), and if possible, a picture of your initial encounter. 

4. Be honest with your submissions!
