Dunno exactly when, but at one point while hunting sparces I threw my last master ball at one, then reset immediately. To my knowledge this is the only time I've intentionally failed a shiny, and I really regret it. I should have evolved it to see if it was the rare one, and should have just done the rng manip to get another master ball. I really like keeping all my shinies even uninteresting ones cause I think it's interesting to see how many of a mon I have and where they're from(as the sheer amount of mons recorded here shows). After my black 3ds droughted for a long time, I finally got this only to reset over it, then reclaim it 3 encounters later.

Uncatchable from my chimchar hunt since I was dual hunting with one plat and one diamond. Funnily enough, this was the only shiny I got on diamond the entire dream team. I plan to reclaim this one day

Found in a ridiculous 3 encounters, I learned the hard way that Golisopod is not a good false swiper cause emergency exit makes you run from wild pokemon.
