Originally tried to do the gift reset - full odds 280 in 6 hours - but switched to catch combo method in Route 4. 8 catch combo that broke and gave up for over a year before trying again this week (August 2025). First 11 catch combo took 4.5 hours and finally got a shiny on catch combo 23 where I would run away from any that I didn’t catch with the first ball. I had just finished the Gastly hunt that was quick af so I thought let's do a Cubone from the Pokemon Tower itself. That and the Rock Tunnel had the same odds so I went to the rock tunnel to start my catch combo on some geodude to hit the 11 for rare spawns and go back to the tower but with just 1 geodude caught this boulder showed up LMAOO. I was so shook I forgot to catch in a premier ball lol

Longest hunt to date (Phase 1 for Trubbish). 10 Hours of it was streamed (1k encounter - caught across 4 streams). 1 extra hour each for White & White 2 for gameplay to get to route 5 and 3 + 3 for Black to get all the way. Then the first 1000k encounters at a rate of 100 per 20 minutes = 3.5 hours. This gives a total time of 22 total hours to get to Liepard.

Played a White copy and White 2 copy until you could have the chance to encounter Petilil in Inner Pinwheel Forest and Castelia City Park for the same odds. Forest is just normal grass while the Park has 2 regular grass tiles and 3 dark grass tiles that I used. Super super fast hunt ong. 2 hours for the actual hunt itself but adding 4 hours to get to this stage of the hunt itself.
