Welcome to Phase Hoenn!
Like Phase Kanto and Phase Johto, we'll work together as a community to shiny hunt every Pokemon in the Hoenn Pokedex. We'll be partnering up with ShinyDex to bring you guys a great shiny hunting experience! -This event is based around every shiny Pokemon in the Hoenn Dex, and we will be using games with 1/8192 odds. Games in Generation 3-5 are valid games for hunting in. No Shiny Charm, no method hunts, no full odds radar, no custom e-reader cards. Shiny lock removal is allowed.
-When Submitting an entry on shiny dex, please provide the following: Encounter Picture, Summary Screen Picture, and Proof of no shiny charm if hunting in B2W2.
-For any event hunts, you may not hunt for targets on more than 8 systems.
-Each Pokemon in the dex must be caught shiny. Based on low encounter rate across games, the following pokemon will be permitted to be entered in the shiny living dex via evolution: Gardevoir, Ludicolo, Combusken, Blaziken, Marshstomp, Swampert, Grovyle, Sceptile, Beautifly, Dustox, Ninjask & Shedninja (SEPARATE ENTRIES), Exploud, Aggron, Flygon, Armaldo, Cradily, Milotic, Glalie, Walrein, Salamence.
NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES WILL RESULT IN SUBMISSIONS BEING INVALIDATED AND BEING REMOVED FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT.
GIVEAWAY:
We will be hosting two Giveaways at the end of the event! One giveaway for everyone who participated in the event, and another for users who got entries in our Dex! Everyone who gets a Shiny Dex entry in the Dex will get an entry into our giveaway lottery, even if your submission isn't the first one for a particular target. No need to give up on your target just because someone got it first!
To qualify for the giveaway, you must also be an active member in our discord. For Physical items like games, you must have the means in which to play the game you won! If you win a physical item, a member of the mod team will contact you for the necessary information to ship it out. Shipping Costs must be covered by the recipient. If you are unable to play the game being shipped or cover shipping, you will be rewarded with a free pro membership to Shiny Dex!
